Community Add-Ons

This release adds a new module: the Flex Slider, contributed by bruyndoncx on the forum.

I also renamed all of the module files and their language files to match osCommerce coding standards. If you need to replace a module that you already have installed, remember to delete the old module before uploading the new one.

Fixed a bug in the New Products module. If you need to upgrade, uninstall the module first, then replace the catalog/includes/modules/front_page/new_products.php with the one from this package.

This package fixes the conflict between Theme Switcher and some of the Front Page modules that need to have jQuery loaded first. See the package for upgrade instructions if you already have this Addon installed.

This is an attempt to fix the annoying language bug. The Specials, Text Main, and Upcoming Products modules have been updated. These modules should no longer show an error with additional languages installed. If the additional languages are formatted correctly and installed correctly, that is.

If you are updating from an older version, uninstall these modules before uploading the new versions.

Fixed a bug in the Banner Rotator module that prevented it from working when used with Theme Switcher.

This addon is designed to make changes to the front page of an osCommerce store easy and simple. It is particularly intended for new users of the software, but can be used by anybody.

Elements in the center section of the page can be added, removed, and reordered from the Admin panel. No code editing is needed unless the site has been modified already, in which case only two simple edits are needed.

Nine modules are provided with the initial release. More modules and upgrades are planned for future releases.
