I had the problem, that only about 7 products out of more than a hundred were randomly showing. Changing pc or browser didnt help.

It's working now!

I also added a feature, which prevents products w/o an image to be shown in the box, since the box looks poor with text-only-products.

You can turn this feature off by deleting a couple letters in show_random.php. I commented the line responsible.

The box heading was not working, due to a couple of extra quotation marks. 'BOX_HEADING_SHOW_RANDOM' was displaying instead of the name defined by the [your language].php file.
This has been fixed.

Creates a box for the left- or right-hand columns that displays a random product. Pretty much just a few words changed in whats_new.php, but I couldn't find it in the current contributions and I wanted it, so here it is.
