This release fixes all currently known bugs. Needess to say, that does not mean *all* bugs. Please remember that this is still Beta software.

This release fixes a couple of bugs related to checkboxes on the Products update in the Admin. There are no new features.

This release adds an option to use Final Price as an existing column Specification. It also fixes a few minor bugs, mostly cosmetic.

Updated to fix a bug in catalog/includes/functions/products_specifications.php.

Yes, this is a release candidate. Finally.

Features added:
1. Filter Counts. Option can be turned off in Admin.
2. Filters that would return no result can be disabled or removed. Also an option in Admin.
3. Tabbed display on the Product Info page. Also optional in Admin.
4. Alternate Product Info page (product_information.php). Not an Admin option.

There are still some requested features that have not been added. See the bugs.txt in the distribution for details. These will have to wait until after Version 1.0 is released.

All of the known bugs have now been fixed, including the elusive Range filter bug. Doubtless someone will find one that I missed.

I've added the option to select specifications on the Admin Products page, rather than just text entry. You can also enter multiple values for a specification this way.

Please report any new bugs on the forum thread. This is also the last opportunity to ask for new/changed features before we head into the first release candidate.

Changes in this release include one new file and another major database change. I'm hoping this is the last time this happens.

Many more bugs fixed. Some of these were nasty. Most of the bugs on the list are now fixed (or should be), including everything that was preventing a feature from working. Most of the remainder are actually missing features.

Yes, there is now filter code. It hasn't been extensively tested, but at least some of it works.

This is the last of the major feature code. There are still some things that need to be coded, but the majority of the functionality is here now. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Another minor update. Missing file added, other files updated, file list in the Readme.txt updated. Next update will add filters.

This is mostly a bugfix release. Thanks to the folks who reported bugs on the forum. Please come and join us there.

The database has been changed to fix a couple of persistent bugs.

More functions have again been added/debugged in this release. The database has been changed as well. More changes are still possible, so don't take this design as final.

Admin bugs have been fixed, and one feature added (Link to Subdirectories.)

The Comparison page is now working. I also renamed the file. I still haven't coded the link to this page, so you'll have to hand-type the URL. I added the option of using this table as a replacement for the stock Subcategory page.

More functions have been added/debugged in this release. The database has been changed again to add some things I
missed, and to correct an error in the original design. More changes are not only possible but likely, so don't
take this database design as final.

Admin -> Catalog -> Categories/Products should now work, including the preview.
Admin -> Catalog -> Products Specifications works except for Filters. I need to work on some other parts of this
before the Admin eats my brain. With these changes, it should now be possible to add Specification Groups,
link them to Product Categories, add Specifications, then add data to those specifications for your products.
After you do all that, the Specifications table will show up for that product. All of the usual Add, Edit, Copy,
Move, and Delete functions should work (Where those functions are appropriate, of course.

This is a slightly updated version. Note that the database has been changed to
make the use of filters a bit more rational. More changes are possible, so don't
take this database design as final.

Admin -> Catalog -> Categories/Products now mostly works.
Admin -> Catalog -> Products Specifications is closer, but still needs a lot of
coding to make it usable.
Several files have been added, mostly to the Admin side.
Everything else is pretty much the same as the previous release.

This addon is being developed to allow the addition of an unlimited number of
specifications to the site's products. These can be used for:
1. A table of specifications on the Product Info page.
2. A comparison table showing the specifications of a group of products.
3. A set of filters to allow the customer to show only products that meet
certain criteria. This could be all AGP video cards with 256MB of memory, the
parts for a 1992 Yugo, or anything else you might want to set up.

This code is currently under development. Consider this an early Alpha release
at best. Parts of the code are extremely buggy, and the rest is incomplete. Or
missing altogether. Don't even think of installing this on anything except a
development machine. Also, don't install it if you are not at least moderately
familiar with PHP and MySQL and willing to at least look at both. This addon
will be replaced with a new one when the code is ready for release.
