Community Add-Ons

This version see's updates to the code plus additions to the contribution
* Reworked the product_listing.php. enlarged the products image from the standard to fit better, removed the buy now button and replaced it with an add to cart button, also put the button in line.

* Product_info.php made this file multi language and added German and Spanish to the standard English

* Added a new_products.php module with random products a buy now and more info buttons.


* Admin control.
* Select the amount of characters displayed on the product listing page for short descriptions you want to show

* Display the product listing as a list or grid

* Select the sort order of the products listing, either by price or by name

* New products module, select the number of columns you want to show

This is a full package, 10 minute install on a vanilla install of osCommerce 2.2 RC2A

This is an update to the J Query side.
Now includes
product_reviews.php

product_reviews_write.php
Files, this is a drop in file set intended for a vanilla install.
For a manual install refer to the previous installations and then in the above mentioned files search for

Following many recent requests I have updated this so instead of showing 0 when there is no stock it now shows “Currently sold out”
You have to have Better Product listing and product info display installed already.

This update and enhancement will bring the following to the add on. I have added icons for the reviews count {if any} also for the web link and the Product Description header. There is now a J query version of the same thing. This package includes Lightbox verions [ Drop in install + manual update]

Much of this is dynamic, if there is no data the item header will not show.
Review count, Web Address, Attributes etc…

I have now added another set of files, now you can choose from Lightbox of J query lightbox versions.
I have also added some more icons and moved the reviews count to the stats part.
This as most of it only shows when there is something to show.

Its worth pointing out that this looks a hell of a lot better with larger images!

This contribution adds some extra umpf to the product listing and product info pages, the default ones while OK are a little bland so I have spiced them up a bit,
Product_listing.php
added a short description with a buy now and more details buttons, also added code to display the manufacturer and QTY (if this is not set under admin >> configuration >> product listing it will not show)
added some more eye-catching formatting styles,
Product_info.php
added a lot of extra bits here, the layout I have changed and added images etc to make it look more inviting to your customers
added light box to the popup image
added social bookmarking to the actual page rather than it being called from a separate file.
made more dynamic, of the following if there are none they will not show
o Model
o Attributes
o Web page link
