This package contains a few fixes for "Excel Import 1.51", especially if your server runs with register_globals=OFF.
It also contains a template for Excel and OpenOffice and a demo CSV file as well as a more detailled readme file.
No guarantees & warranties, however ;-), but maybe you'll be more lucky with this release than the other one.
I added upload support for the more pics 6 contribution. I also added checks to make sure you do not get broken links when choose only to upload some images.
I did not modify the export.
Includes excel.php version 1.51 with the instructions and code snipets to add to the neccessary admin area files to place a link in the left hand admin menu bar for easy access.
Only French translation of excel.php + CSV form + screen.
English:
I translated the file "excel.php" for the part in the Admin into the German language. A snapshot I added with. Really helps in handling the Tool. In my Shop it runs perfectly. The installation is far in English the remaining files I again with added. Much fun thereby and I hopes it helps some.

Ich habe die Datei "excel.php" für den Teil im Admin in die deutsche Sprache übersetzt. Ein Schnappschuss habe ich bei gefügt. Hilft wirklich im Umgang mit dem Tool. In meinem Shop läuft es einwandfrei. Die Installation ist weiter in Englisch. die restliche Dateien habe ich wieder bei gefügt. Viel Spass damit und ich hoffe es hilft manchem weiter.
Changes made in the Excel Import file
1. Addition of escape characters if any of the default
character is used in the data
2. Addition of Manufacturer data import
3. Adition of Categories levels, Current there was no concept of categories leveling
4. Exporting as well as IMPORTING is also added
5. Exporting to some external file is also possible now

excel.php fixed, because there was no image update :-)

Cool Module, only I got an error because products_status in Line 199 of the Excel.php is inserted twice.
The Language in the zip is changed to german (id=2).
