For those using this mod, and want to include the option to display manufacturer name and also sort by manufacturer name (a fundemental requirement in my opinion), here is the complete fix that you can just overwrite in your admin/stats_low_stock.php file once you have installed the contribution (v1.5 below).

Everything I have put in the readme is simple copy and paste, the only modifications to the original code that you download below is to get it to show the manufacturers name.

Please download v1.5 below and install first.

Sorry I had to adjust some code again that I had move to wrong spot causing the Backorder Table to show non backorder items.

A massive overhaul and revamped logic system ... with additional stock reporting and input variables.

Please read the install instructions before you dive into it.

You will have to play with it for a while to understand whats going on LOL. Try it ... you might like it.

Here it is. This version is tweaked with some extra info ... navigation buttons ... update quantity box etc ....

I think I got all of the instructions right. Let me know if you have any problems.

One small glitch to figure out.
When update low stock when page refreshes .. the Displaying number of products does not reset to 0 until page refreshes. Something to do with reseting the rows++ back to zero. I`ll try to figure it out.

Great idea in the previous post. I just whipped this up temporarily.

I am working on another version with more features but here is what you need if you want that feature.

I thought it would be a good idea to be able to change the quantities on the report sheet and export the report
I added the quantity field and thats where I got stuck, sorry guys no idea about PHP so I thought I would post what I had done and maybe someone with some experience can put this together.

Fixed bug where report didn't show products that were not linked to any manufacturer.

Removed a bug in line numbering

Note that this version of Inventory Report shows only products that have a specified manufacturer. So, to view all records, you will specify a manufacturer for each product or you have to use the original version of the script by Chris Rule.

A simple inventory report showing current stock levels of all products. Sortable by name, SKU, and quantity.

I needed this to keep track of current stock levels of all items. Low stock reports didn't give me the information I needed, neither did the current sales reports.

Very easy to install, only takes 5 minutes. Upload 2 files, modify 1 line in 3 files and done!
