I slightly modified this contribution in an effort to cut down on the number of items in my configuration table. I cut down the user/pass SQL entries by 1/2 without removing any of the 8 users. It's probably not worth upgrading unless you have a high-traffic site and are looking for every drop of speed you can get.

This module will allow you to offer live support from your website via a chat dialog utilizing PHP-Online v1.4. It is fully configurable via the Admin CP, has 8 users configured by default and supports an unlimited number of users. Staff members can login via a password-protected login page. The original readme and license is included for your reference.
