This is an automatic Thumbnail creator.

Each picture in your Shop will be chached in the "/catalog/images/imagecache" directory in the right
size and with the same name as the original.
The size is set in the Admin panel under Configuration - Images.
These values are the max values. The thumbnail will be created in the right proportions.

The tumbnail will be created at the first time the picture is called in the Shop.
Once an thumbnail is created it will always be used until you change the size in the Admin panel.

If you delete an image, you have also to delete the thumbnail in the "/catalog/images/imagecache" directory manually

I only have BIG pictures now, no small ones, and when I do refreshment of the window, no pics at all?

Waht am I doing wrong?

Just use the admin-panel (see PDF).
For the width, just delete the values so the field is emty.
Now your images follow the same hight, and variable width.

Step 2:
Uppercase did not work for me. Setup automatically looked for a lower-case dir name.

Step 8 should be:

This is a complete workaround for all of us who have had problems with image distortion!

There are only two files to edit.

I've tried ALL the image mods with NO SUCCESS. This image mod was simple and works PERFECTLY!

I found this fix in the forums posted by NGR. All credit goes to him/her. I just decided that this needs to be a MOD so everyone can finally have their images shown with NO distortion at all.
