there was a problem with the previous (and probably also the original) file in this contribution. when installed, the customer would receive an error message if the create_account file were to call for itself, as it does when a customer tries to create an account with an email address already listed.
This version fixes that problem.
Also, if you do not use the osCommerse default date format of MM/DD/YYYY, take note that you will have to slightly modify a line of code in this file. I pointed it out in the documentation.

This mod changes the Create Account page to show selectable drop down dates instead of the user manually entering birth date

Small change to show the * required information for those that want the birthdate field identified as a required field.
