All i have done is adjusted some of the code to actually show the model in the attributes drop down menu.. Before it just showed you Product Name.

It now shows you model number - product name.

Also cleaned up the install file and can confirm that it does work on 2.2MS2..

Also changed the sql to sort on product ID rather than Product Name as it works better for me.

This contribution does not work, all i get is a column FOR model number, but when u try to edit, it just says "$products_model_only" with no text box to actually ENTER the model number!

My store has many items with the same name but with different model
numbers (e.g., the tape and CD have the same name, only the model number
tells which is which). The standard product attributes display is not
easy to work with, becuase I had to guess which line to modify from the
ID value. So, I added the display of the product model to each row, thereby
reducing this problem to a trivial one.
