European VAT Zones v1.0
For sales into Europe, you need to set your shop to show prices without VAT and
then add them for those account holders from EU Countries. This needs to be
added as a line item on Checkout, rather than in a combined 'show-price'.
This update has sql files that makes it a lot easier than adding 224 countries to the Rest of World zone in Admin.

Since the EU enlarged, so has the SQL file. I got the list from the DTI (http://www.dti.gov.uk/ewt/enlargement.htm) if you're interested.
In the package a VAT percentage of 17.5% is mentioned. The VAT you have to use differs from country to country. If you, like I do, are setting up a shop in Denmark the VAT for the whole EU community is the Danish VAT of 25 %
Just thougt you might want to know. :-)
By the way. This setup has been verified by our external accounting company. (Stats autoriseret revisor - yes this is Danish). :-) Didn't remember the english word.
